Baseball: Falcons shut out Turks

"In varsity baseball action on Wednesday the South Whidbey Falcons picked up their first league win of the season with a 4-0 shutout over the Sultan Turks. Bryan Wenker picked up the win going seven complete innings. The Falcons picked up three runs in the first inning with two outs. Brady Switzer led off with a single and stole two bases. Switzer also added a double, goingtwo for four on the day. Karl Noste continued with his hot bat by ripping a double and getting an RBI. Chris Patterson was two for three and Jim Berto was one for three, including a solo four-bagger in the fourth inning, the first home run of the season for the Falcons. The Falcons are now one and two in league action. "
