The opponent will be the Blaine Borderites and game time is 4:30.It's not the end of the season, however. The Falcons are playoff-bound, but exactly where they would finish in the North Cascades Conference standings was uncertain Tuesday. That afternoon, the Falcons played Mount Baker, which held second place. South Whidbey and three other teams were a game behind, so a win would tie the Falcons for second. Results were too late to appear in this issue of The South Whidbey Record.South Whidbey won its final league road game Monday with an 11-5 win at Meridian. The Falcons' record improved to 9-5 while the Trojans fell to 3-10.Val Mock and Nici Eaton shared pitching duties for South Whidbey as coach Renee Christian saved ace Ashley Lopez for Tuesday's crucial contest. Hitting standouts were Mary Murphy and Bronwyn Russell, each with a triple, and Mock, who helped her own cause with a double. "
