The quartet of musicians, who haven't given themselves a name yet, bring together influences from the worlds of rock, folk, bluegrass, traditional Irish folk and blues. All are longtime Whidbey residents. They have been playing together for about six months, for fun and because, said one member, It sharpens our individual talents. We hope everyone will join in and support their local music scene, said Friends of Freeland board member Jeanne Juneau. Beverly Graham has agreed to loan us her excellent PA system and Marty at the Smilin' Dog is generously donating the space in the 'Back 40' of the coffee house.A $3 donation to benefit Friends of Freeland will be accepted at the door.
