Whidbey Children's Theater performs at the Fair

The young performers of Whidbey Children's Theater will present their final show of the summer on Thursday, Aug. 16, opening day of the Island County Fair.Made in the USA is a song and dance revue of American music featuring New Orleans jazz, country western pop and oldies rock and roll. It features 21 actors, singers and dancers ages 10-16.This is the fifth year WCT has performed at the fair under the direction of Martha Murphy. This year's show is choreographed by Charlene Brown of Island Dance, with music direction by Emily Robertson of Seattle.Performances are at noon and at 2, 4, and 6 p.m. in the Pole Building. There is no charge. "
