Congressman Rick Larsen’s campaign said this week a recent poll has him with an 18-point lead over Republican Rick Bart.
U.S. Rep. Larsen, a 2nd District Democrat, is seeking a fourth term in the House of Representatives. Bart is the former sheriff of Snohomish County who left his sheriff’s post because of term limits. He last ran for Snohomish County executive in 2007 against incumbent Democrat Aaron Reardon before dropping out of the race due to financial reasons. The poll was conducted last week. Larsen’s campaign said the Survey USA poll was done between June 16-17 and shows Larsen with a lead of 56 percent over Bart's 38 percent.
