Group considers Langley parks upgrade

Getting new playground equipment is on the to-do list for Langley’s Parks and Open Space Commission.

At the last city council meeting, two representatives from the commission told Langley leaders they were working on funds to replace the playground equipment at Generation Park.

The corner park at Second Street and DeBruyn Avenue features a swing set that could be also be replaced.

The Parks and Open Space Commission is also working on the conservation easement for the Noble Creek property, which could feature trails in the future.
