Ferries chief to visit Clinton

David Moseley, assistant secretary of the Washington State Department of Transportation, Ferries Division, will visit Clinton for a community meeting next week.

The visit, according to a press release, will include discussion of the legislative session, liquefied natural gas, new ferry construction and long-range planning.

Moseley and other agency representatives will visit Clinton from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5 at Clinton Community Hall, 6411 Central Ave.

Currently, no visit to Coupeville is planned.

“I look forward to hearing from our customers at our community meetings,” Moseley said in the news release. “I always find this feedback valuable, and it helps us when we consider making changes to the system.”
