Nobody found in reported car crash

Fire district officials are scratching their heads over a “minor” car crash that occurred early Friday morning in the Possession Point area.

South Whidbey Fire/EMS Chief Rusty Palmer said district responders were called to a car collision at 4:30 a.m. March 7, off Possession and Franklin roads, but when they arrived, nobody was found inside and there were no visible signs of injury near the car.
