Campaign officials for Congressman Rick Larsen's reelection campaign said today the 2nd District Democrat has raised more than $1 million in campaign contributions.

Citizens to Elect Rick Larsen raised more than $226,700 between April 1 and June 30, and the campaign now has $614,500 in cash on hand.

Larsen is seeking his fifth term in the U.S. House of Representatives. He is running against Republican Rick Bart and fellow Democrats Doug Schaffer and Glen S. Johnson.

“Thank you to all my supporters and volunteers who have donated time and money and helped me raise over $1 million so I can continue working for Northwest Washington in Congress," Larsen said.

“I will keep working every day to strengthen our local economy, get gas prices under control, bring veterans healthcare closer to veterans and give local law enforcement the tools they need to succeed," he said.
