Freeland accident leaves two cars damaged

A car accident in Freeland Friday morning left two cars damaged, but no one injured.

According to Sgt. Laura Price with the Island County Sheriff’s Office, a red Ford pickup was northbound on Highway 525 when it stopped to make a right turn onto Double Bluff Road. It was then hit from behind by a gray Ford Ranger.

The impact resulted in damage to the front left bumper of the Ford Ranger and the back right side of the red Ford pickup. The road stayed open, but flaggers limited left and right turns on Double Bluff Road.
