Sailings cancelled for Keystone ferry

Washington State Ferries has canceled eight sailings in August on the Keystone-Port Townsend route due to low times and ebb currents.

The cancelled sailings from Keystone are 8:45 a.m. Friday, Aug. 1; 10:15 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2; and 7:15 and 8:45 a.m. Friday, Aug. 29.

The cancelled runs from Port Townsend are 8 a.m. Friday, Aug. 1; 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2; and 6:30 and 8 a.m. Friday, Aug. 29.

Four extra sailings have been added to the route because of the cancellations.

Two new trips will depart from the Keystone terminal at 6:50 and 9:05 a.m. Friday, Aug. 29.

Extra trips on the Port Townsend side are at 6:05 and 8:20 a.m. Friday, Aug. 29.
