Langley parks, open space member sought

Langley’s Parks and Open Space Commission needs a volunteer member to help shape the city’s future parks.

Part of the commission’s duties is to advise the Langley City Council about long-range parks and open space planning, such as amending the parks element of the city’s comprehensive plan.

The term is three years, and members are appointed by the mayor and confirmed by the city council.

Anyone interested in serving should send a letter of interest to Clerk-Treasurer, City of Langley, P.O. Box 366, Langley, WA 98260.
