Congressman Rick Larsen will spend next week in Denver, Colo. at the Democratic Party’s National Convention.

“I am heading to Denver to cast my super delegate vote for the next president of the United States, Barack Obama,” Rep. Larsen said.

“I am confident that Barack Obama will lead our country out of the energy crisis, fix our ailing economy, and restore our standing in the world,” he added.

Larsen, a 2nd District Democrat, will join in activities hosted by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, the Democratic National Committee, the Washington State Democratic Party and the New Democratic Coalition.

He will also participate in forums and discussions addressing the economy, transportation, energy and foreign policy.
