Starting this month the Langley City Council will have a new meeting date. The first meeting will be tomorrow.

Regular council meetings are now at 6:30 p.m the first and third Mondays each month. When Monday is a holiday, the council meeting will be held on Tuesday.

The council will meet Tuesday to vote on a agreement with Nichols Brothers Boat Builders and to authorize the city to apply for a $5,000 grant for event shuttle services.

Council members will also discuss the city's current budget and potential amendments, demographic projections and a Council of Government's resolution promoting reduction in waste and greenhouse gas emissions.

The council will also hold an informal workshop session at 4 p.m. before the council meeting.
