The South Whidbey School District board will conduct a site visit at two schools this month.

From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, the board will tour the primary and intermediate schools, both located on Maxwelton Road in Langley. The purpose is to observe the classrooms and programs, and meet with staff, students and community members.

The visit will be followed by a coffee hour for staff and the community at the intermediate school from 4 to 5 p.m.
