The Island County Treasurer’s Office is reminding property owners that the second-half property tax payment is due Oct. 31.

Property owners can pay taxes online by credit card or e-check at www.islandcounty.net/treasurer.

There is also a drop box behind the Administration Building in Coupeville. Checks can also be left in the inside drop box during office hours from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or paid at the treasurer’s office counter.

Those who have not yet received a 2008 tax statement or have lost the statement can call the treasurer’s office at 360-679-7302.
