At its next meeting, the Island County Planning Commission will take public comment on an amendment to the county’s 2006 non-motorized trails plan to include a project for a multi-use trail along Highway 20 and Highway 525 from Deception Pass Bridge to the Clinton ferry dock.

The planning commission will also accept comments on standards that govern mini-storage facilities within the “rural” zone, and also proposed amendments to the Island County Parks Plan.

The meeting starts at 9 a.m. Tuesday, May 12 in the commissioners’ hearing room in the County Annex Building at 1 NE Sixth St., Coupeville.
