UPDATE | Four candidates in the race for South Whidbey port commissioner

A primary race for a six-year seat on the board of commissioners for the Port of South Whidbey is shaping up.

Four candidates have filed for the position, now held by incumbent Rolf Seitle.

Randy Heston, Herb Helsel, Chris Jerome and Dean Enell have filed as candidates in the race.

On Friday, Seitle said he has decided not to seek another term.

“I’ve had a good seven years,” Seitle said.
