The contact station for the Social Security Administration is moving from Brookhaven in Langley to the South Whidbey-Bayview Senior Center in Bayview.

The contact station serves the South End. Representatives can help residents obtain Social Security numbers or replacement cards, make retirement and disability claim appointments, get answers on Medicare issues, and other assistance.

A Social Security representative will visit the senior center from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 9.

In following months, a Social Security representative will be available at the Bayview Senior Center from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. on the second Thursday of each month.

Members of the public can still do business with the Social Security Administration over the phone by calling 800-772-1213, or online at www.socialsecurity.gov.
