Bob Trenchard has pulled out of the five-way race for Position 3 on the board for the Port of South Whidbey.

Trenchard withdrew as a candidate Thursday morning.

Four candidates remain in the race to replace outgoing Port Commissioner Lynae Slinden, who recently resigned with two years left in her term.

Curt Gordon, Ed Jenkins, Callahan McVay and Mona Newbauer will square off in the November General Election. A special filing period for the race closed Wednesday.
