South Whidbey upended by King's

The Falcon football team took a 34-6 beating from King's at Shoreline Friday.

The Knights forced five South Whidbey turnovers.

King's league rushing leader Thomas Vincent had three touchdowns (22 carries, 120 yards) and passed for two more (11-for-17, 92 yards) in the Cascade Conference game.

Falcon Henry Mead led South Whidbey with 22 carries for 115 yards, including a 47-yard breakaway for a TD, and Hunter Rawls recorded 10 solo tackles for South Whidbey.

The Falcons are now 2-2 in the league, 3-3 overall. King’s moves to 3-1 and 4-2.

At 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16 the team welcomes the Granite Falls Tigers to Waterman Field for the annual homecoming game.
