Drivers on South Whidbey are facing dangerous driving conditions today.

A light dusting of snow overnight, combined with partial melting and now, freezing temperatures, has left many side streets and arterials iced over.

Cars were reported off the roadway on Maxwelton and Bayview roads on Sunday afternoon.

Maxwelton Road is especially icy near Daisy Lane, and Bayview Road is dicey south of Highway 525.

Highway 525 south of Freeland is mostly ice-free, though drivers should be careful of black ice in spots.
