Hansen takes oath of office

Freeland Water & Sewer District Commissioner Eric Hansen was sworn in to another term in office during the water district’s meeting on Monday.

Hansen ran unopposed for the Position 2 seat on the district board in November.

He received a hearty reception at the start of his third term this week from fellow Water District Commissioner Rocky Knickerbocker.

“Well, welcome aboard, mate!” Knickerbocker quipped after Hansen took the oath of office.

The district spans about 1,100 acres and has 442 customers.
