December 16, 2009 · 4:16 PM
The South Whidbey School Board expects to vote tonight on final details for the capital projects, technology and maintenance-and-operations levies planned for the Feb. 9 ballot.
In addition, the board will recognize maintenance technician Ken Richards for his long service to the district, and the Whidbey Children’s Theater for providing high school, middle school and Bayview School students the opportunity to learn and explore the dramatic arts.
The board will hear a report on enrollment, the budget and food service operations from Dan Poolman. The board will also get a consolidation committee update from Mike Johnson, and is expected to approve the South Whidbey High School Choir’s spring tour to San Francisco, Calif. next year.
The meeting is at 6:30 p.m. tonight in the elementary school community room.
