Island County GOP picks state committee chair

The Island County Republican Party has announced the election of Sam Cunningham as State Committee Chairman, replacing Caig Buchanan.

Cunningham currently serves as an Island County Area 1C Chairman for Greenbank. He previously served as co-chairman in the 2008 Republican Presidential Campaign, and is a recognized speaker and educator on healthcare financing issues.

Robert Metzger, a former Navy veteran, was appointed precinct committee officer for Oak Harbor; Timothy Geist was appointed PCO for Penn Cove.
