Senate candidate is guest speaker at South Whidbey GOP meeting

The South Whidbey Republican Women will welcome Dr. Sean Salazar, who is seeking the Republican nomination in the U.S. Senate race against Patty Murray, as their featured speaker at their next meeting.

The theme of his campaign is “Constitution First,” and Salazar says the federal government’s house can get back in order by going back to Constitutional principles, reducing the size of government, and reducing taxes.

Salazar is a physical therapist and a small business owner who resides in Edmonds. He served in the Navy, is married and has one daughter.

The South Whidbey Republican Women will meet at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 16, at Useless Bay Golf & Country Club.

Reservations are required; call Saranell deChambeau at 221-1848 or Suzanne Cloore at 321-5420 to make a reservation or for more information.
