Island County GOP party to hold convention

The Island County Republican Party will hold its 2010 Convention on Saturday, April 10 at North Whidbey Middle School in Oak Harbor.

Republican precinct committee officers, elected officials, delegates and alternates throughout Island County will gather to elect delegates to the state convention.

Party members will also consider and adopt the Island County platform, as well as the convention rules and any proposed resolutions.

Registration for Oak Harbor and North Whidbey starts at 7:30 a.m., registration for Coupeville and South Whidbey is at 8:05 a.m., with Camano registration starting at 8:35 a.m. Convention business starts promptly at 9:30 a.m.
