State Rep. Barbara Bailey will hold one-hour coffee talks throughout the 10th District this week.

The Oak Harbor Republican is hosting six coffee klatches on Wednesday, May 26, and Thursday, May 27.

“Discussing issues over a cup of coffee is an American tradition,” Bailey said. “The ‘coffee talk’ format is comfortable and informal, which leads to meaningful discussions on the things important to folks. I encourage everyone to stop by, listen in and share their views.”

The coffee chats begin in La Conner, with a stop in Stanwood, on May 26.

Angelo’s Caffe in Oak Harbor is the first stop the next day. Bailey will be at Angelo’s Caffe (670 SE Pioneer Way) from 8 to 9 a.m. on May 27.

The state lawmaker will stop by Miriam’s Espresso Café (200 S. Main St.) in Coupeville from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., then it’s on to the South End.

Bailey will host a coffee chat from 1 to 2 p.m. at the 1504 Coffee Bar, next to the Texaco on Highway 525 in Freeland, followed by a visit from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Useless Bay Coffee Company in Langley.
