Double Bluff Beach cleanup set for July 5

The annual cleanup of Double Bluff Beach south of Freeland begins at

9 a.m. Monday, July 5.

Organizer Cheryl May said that each year for the past five years, the cleanup has removed three tons of debris from the beach. She said 40-cubic-yard metal trash receptacles again will be placed in the park for the debris that’s collected. Gloves and recyclable bags will also be provided.
