The Langley City Council will hold a hearing on its 2015 budget and discuss the city’s legislative priorities Monday.

The city’s budget for next year will have a final chance for public input at the 5:30 p.m. Nov. 17 meeting.

Langley’s legislative priorities will also be discussed. Some of the city’s top issues to the state include transportation funding, getting money for the Public Works Trust Fund, limiting local government liability and financial burden caused by unreasonable public records requests, limit supporting state mandates without adequate funding, restore lost revenue from liquor sales privatization, share marijuana revenue fairly with local governments charged with law enforcement and public safety, and restore state parks funding.

The city also plans to recognize the contributions of Bob Herzberg and Joe Wiezerbowski.
