A capstone lunch will conclude Mayor Fred McCarthy’s two-year economic development push Tuesday, Dec. 15 at Langley City Hall.

For the past two years, the mayor organized and hosted luncheons centered around various industries and interests that had an economic impact on the city. Everything from the arts and dining to retail and hospitality services were included in the events, which began as monthly meetings two years ago. This year, the meetings were quarterly.

The final luncheon from noon to 1:30 p.m. will conclude McCarthy’s term. It is designed as a general networking lunch, with food from The Big W, for all past participants and any others interested in attending.

Mayor-elect Tim Callison will also attend to meet business owners. An RSVP to mayor@langleywa.org is requested or call 360-221-4246 ext. 0.
