Commuter ‘heroes’ can win prizes

Starting this month, “Wheel Options” gives participants a chance to be a “commuter superhero.” Bus, bike, carpool, van pool or walk to work this month and track your travel for a chance to win prizes.

The Wheel Options promotion, which runs Oct. 1-31, is offered by the Washington State Ridesharing Organization, a nonprofit organization. Deadline for recording trips is Friday, Nov. 8. For more information, log on to www.wheeloptions.org
