Dems hold ice cream social
October 15, 2008 · 11:11 AM
The Committee to Elect Helen Price Johnson for Island County commissioner will host an ice cream social with musical guests Polka Dot Dot Dot this weekend on Camano Island.
Price Johnson, a Democrat, is seeking to unseat incumbent Republican Phil Bakke for the District 1 position.
The fundraiser will include Angie Homola, a fellow Democrat Party candidate for county commissioner who is battling incumbent Republican Mac McDowell, and Patricia Terry, the Democrat challenging incumbent Barbara Bailey for a 10th District seat in the House of Representatives.
It will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18 at the Madrona Fire Hall, 916 W. Fifth Street, Camano Island.
