The political arm of the Veterans of Foreign Wars has endorsed Congressman Rick Larsen in his bid for reelection.

The 2nd District Democrat is seeking a fifth term in the U.S. House of Representatives.

“I am proud to have the support of the Veterans of Foreign Wars PAC.” Larsen said “I will continue to work to bring healthcare closer to our veterans and honor our commitment to all who serve.”

Larsen touted his work to bring healthcare service to veterans in northwest Washington, and pointed to the planned opening of a veterans’ outreach center in Mount Vernon next summer. It follows the opening of a temporary clinic in Sedro-Woolley.

The congressman’s campaign also noted he also backed the biggest increase ever in funding for the Veteran’s Administration.
