An emergency preparedness fair is scheduled for 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Saturday March 9 at St. Hubert Catholic Church in Langley.

Representatives from Island County Emergency Management, Red Cross, Island County Amateur Radio Club, the City of Langley and Puget Sound Energy will attend.

The fair is in an open house format, no presentations, according to organizers. The goal is to help people obtain information that will help individuals and neighborhoods prepare for emergency.

Attendees also will learn about the City of Langley’s ALERT program to support neighborhoods with emergency preparation.
