Officials with South Whidbey Fire/EMS announced Tuesday that a vital meeting with the state Auditor’s Office was canceled because of the snow.

An exit interview following this year’s audit of the South Whidbey Fire/EMS that was scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Jan. 17 in Freeland was called off Tuesday morning.

The meeting has not yet been rescheduled.

Other meetings for later in the week have also been canceled.

Island County said the county commissioners’ work session Wednesday, Jan. 18 has been canceled.
