Gemkow now McClure Custom Homes

Gemkow Construction has changed its name to McClure Custom Homes, LLC nearly two years after purchase.

Owners Smokey and Leilani McClure are renaming their custom home and remodeling business while also moving into a new building.

The McClures began the purchase of Gemkow Construction in July 2016 and have since grown the company from six employees to 20.

With that growth came the need for more office and shop space.

In December 2017, the McClures purchased the Whidbey Tire and Auto building in Bayview and have been transforming the old shop bays into new office spaces that double as a show room for their employees and subcontractors.
