Deer Lagoon Grange will hold an open house this Saturday, celebrating Grange Month for April.

During its public meeting, the group will present the community citizen of the year award posthumously to Terry Permenter for his community service at the Island County Fair.

Four members will also be awarded with service longevity awards: Jean Farnen, 70 years; Gerald Bell, 55 years; Tom Talbot, 55 years; and Ken Schillinger, 40 years.

The group will also discuss Grange Food News and introduce the new South Whidbey Agriculture class.
