Residents, friends and families of the Holmes Harbor community are invited to the annual barbecue and picnic from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 18 at Freeland Park.

“Come and join your neighbors for hot dogs, salads, chips, beverages and home-made desserts,” said organizer Dorothy Ferguson.

The cost is $5 for association members or $7 for non-members, with no charge for kids younger than 12.

“Bring a lawn chair and join in conversations and games if you like,” Ferguson added. “Sunny skies are included in the price.”
