Langley’s planning director selection committee is hoping to hear what qualities and characteristics people want from the new planner.

Mayor Tim Callison announced an hourlong input session at 4 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1 at city hall.

The city is looking to find its third planning director in five years. Michael Davolio, the most recent planner, resigned after months of disagreement with the city’s planning board and mayor. Prior to him, Jeff Arango left for a different job after serving the city three years.

According to a news release from the mayor, the selection committee has developed of list of desired skills, experience, qualities for the future planner that will be available at the meeting.
