Whidbey’s delegation of state lawmakers will be on the North End Saturday, sharing a meal with and answering questions from the public.

The League of Women Voters of Whidbey Island’s annual “Brunch With Our Legislators” is 9:30 a.m.-noon Saturday, Jan. 21, at the Whidbey Golf Club in Oak Harbor. Sen. Barbara Bailey, R-Oak Harbor; Rep. Norma Smith, R-Clinton; and Rep. Dave Hayes, R-Camano — all from District 10 — will be in attendance.

The brunch is a chance to hear from lawmakers what they expect from the 2017 session, which began Jan. 9. A question-and-answer period from the audience is included.

Registration costs $25. Checks should be mailed to LWVWI, P.O. Box 1933, Oak Harbor, WA 98277 by January 17.
