Man accused of threat with gun

An Oak Harbor man is accused of pointing a gun at his wife and threatening to kill her, according to court documents.

Prosecutors charged Zachary Lamb, 24, with harassment June 27 in Island County Superior Court.

Oak Harbor police officers and Naval Air Station Whidbey Island security personnel responded to a call of a domestic situation involving a gun on June 22, according to the police report.

Lamb, an active-duty sailor at NAS Whidbey, got into an argument with his wife after drinking at a Navy function, the report states.

Lamb’s wife told police that during the argument she took their 15-month-old daughter and said she wanted to leave. Lamb allegedly blocked her path to the door, retrieved his gun, cocked it and said “I’ll put a bullet in your head,” the report states.
