Not long after a West Coast port shutdown forced large container ships to anchor in Holmes Harbor for the first time in decades, three more ships are waiting for space at Washington’s ports.

The Hanjin Amsterdam, a German vessel that sailed from Shanghai to Vancouver, B.C., the Maersk Dharan, a Liberian ship that sailed from Shanghai en route to Seattle, and the Mol Promise sailing under the Singapore flag heading to Tacoma arrived in Holmes Harbor this past week.

According to information provided by www.vesselfinder.com, the three container ships were scheduled to arrive at their destinations between Feb. 22 and March 4.
