Langley United Methodist Church will hold a concert at 7:30 p.m. on Good Friday, April 3 in the church sanctuary, Third Street and Anthes Avenue. “Eternal Light” will feature the church choir, soloists, orchestra, a string quintet and poetry. Pieces from traditional requiems, such as Gabriel Faure and John Rutter compositions, will be included along with some from living composers who take a little different path.

William Humphreys is conducting and presenting, and featured soloists include Anna McLeod, Karl Olsen, Gloria Ferry-Brennan, Kathryn Fox, Frances Kenney and James Hinkley.

Admission is complimentary and unreserved, but donations to the church’s music program will be accepted.
