Friday, July 5
At 12:33 p.m., an Old County Road resident reported that a gun was stolen.
At 2:58 p.m., an injured goose was reported on Bible Camp Drive.
At 4 p.m., a man on Russell Drive reported that someone stole an anti-jet sign he had posted.
At 1:37 p.m., a caller said that people pulled what appeared to be a lifeless child out of a car on Crescent Harbor Road.
At 10 p.m., a South Whidbey resident reported receiving texts with images of a sawed-off shotgun.
Saturday, July 6
At 10:59 a.m., a Torrence Lane resident reported that he is smoking a pig and there will be a lot of smoke, but there’s nothing to worry about.
At 2:19 p.m., a caller reported that 10 large parrots with overgrown beaks were living in small cages at a South Whidbey location.
At 2:44 p.m., a caller reported driving over a cat in the area of Harbor View Drive. The cat is dead and in a shoebox. The caller didn’t know what to do with it.
At 2:53 p.m., a Fort Casey Road resident reported that a person sprayed termite poison on his house.
At 6:32 p.m., a man at a North Main Street facility told security personnel that he had a knife and a machete in his backpack.
Sunday, July 7
At 11:08 a.m., a caller reported that bathrooms really needed to be cleaned on Alexander Street.
At 2:07 p.m., there was a report of an 18-foot boat grounded near the Oak Harbor Marina.
At 3:31 p.m., a woman reported that she was playing near Sandy Hook gate with her daughter when a man came running and swung a shovel at them.
At 6:44 p.m., a Crow Haven Road resident reported that a coyote was stalking her dog and cats.
Monday, July 8
At 5:04 a.m., a caller reported that a transient man was standing next to cardboard on fire near Sebo’s.
At 10:23 a.m., a man reported that a neighbor’s chickens were ruining the landscaping around his Alta Vista Avenue house.
At 10:54 a.m., a Deception Circle resident reported that her house was burglarized and ransacked.
At 1:30 p.m., a driver reported that a man was hanging over the side of Deception Pass Bridge. A park ranger and citizens pulled the man back over the railing to safety. The man said he wanted to see if anyone cared enough to help him. He was taken into protective custody and transported to the hospital.
At 3:51 p.m., a Fairway Lane resident reported that a fawn jumped over a fence and hurt itself.
Tuesday, July 9
At 10:34 a.m., a caller reported having video footage of a man wearing night vision goggles “and more” in the East Harbor Road area.
At 3:17 p.m., a driver reported that a woman was lying on the side of Highway 525.
At 4:23 p.m., the hospital reported that a patient was bitten by a dog on Wintergreen Road.
At 4:34 p.m., a state trooper requested help with a disorderly person at a Deception Pass campsite.
At 6:10 p.m., a caller reported finding a helmet on the side of Oak Harbor Road and a man lying on the road. Another caller said the man was “not in his right mind” and walking in the street.
At 6:43 p.m., a Wellington Drive resident reported that there is a transient camp in her backyard and a “transient” threatened to burn down her house and kill her husband. The man drove away.
At 10:14 p.m., a resident of a home on Highway 20 reported that a strange man was standing on the porch with a guitar.
