South Whidbey teachers, volunteers, support staff and others will be honored by South Whidbey PTSA groups Thursday.

The district’s annual Golden Acorn and Outstanding Educator Awards will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 18 at South Whidbey High School. Prior to the awards ceremony, PTSA will meet to elect next year’s officers and review the 2013-2014 budget.

A light dinner and dessert will be provided.
