South Whidbey was among 32 state-qualifying teams in Division II.

Hundreds of teams participated in regional competitions March 9 before advancing to the state competition. The state contest, held April 23 at Central Washington University, featured a select number of teams. Teams are permitted up to four members, one from each high school grade.
