Trillium work party tackles tansy ragwort

Volunteers from Whidbey Camano Land Trust worked to remove tansy ragwort.

Volunteers Tom Cahill and Ted Ravetz of the Whidbey Camano Land Trust remove tansy ragwort at the Trillium Community Forest. They were among the many volunteers who attended a work party to remove the plant, which is toxic to livestock. Its removal from the trail sides and roadway at Trillium has been deemed a top priority. The noxious weed is a yellow-flowering plant and can be seen growing along Highway 525.
