Two new areas included in Langley’s joint planning area

Langley City Council’s recommendation for two new locations to be included in Island County’s long range planning process as planned growth areas was accepted by the county, according to Mayor Tim Callison.

Langley City Council’s recommendation for two new locations to be included in Island County’s long range planning process as planned growth areas was accepted by the county, according to Mayor Tim Callison. The areas include land south of Al Anderson Avenue and South Piney Knoll Lane and Canfield Drive and Woodside Lane.

The changes will help reshape Langley’s planned growth area and help guide growth and development over the next two decades.
