Useless Bay golf group supports WhidbeyHealth with donation

The women’s golf groups from Useless Bay Golf & Country Club recently donated a $25,572 check to the WhidbeyHealth Foundation. The funds were raised at the annual Cancer Awareness Golf Tournament held on July 19. The golfers raised $12,786 while an anonymous donor matched the funds for a total of $25,572.

Presenting the check was Laura Youngs, the 9-Hole Ladies’ Golf chairwoman, and Nan Roth, captain of the Women’s Golf Association. Accepting the donation was Executive Director of WhidbeyHealth Foundation Helen Taylor.
